A sad day at Ipperwash as 20 years of working to reestablish trust and working relations between the natives and Lambton Shores were washed down the drain by the unilateral decision of Chief Tom Bressette to remove the car barriers on the beach access points.
At its meeting of December 18, 2014, Council received a report on the Ipperwash Beach situation and passed a resolution stating that with the intention of finding a respectful and lawful solution to the disputed matter of vehicle access to the Ipperwash beaches between West Ipperwash Road and Army Camp Road.

Why is a Nation of People so strong about preserving this land wanting to destroy it with Pollutants and Motor Vehicles. Please but back the Vehicle Barriers so we can play and be safe with Beautiful Nature.
