The Centre Ipperwash Community Association (CICA) is an organization formed to investigate and pursue property-owner matters that affect the members, a collective voice in addressing these issues with elected and appointed officials, and a forum to provide information to the members of the Association.
- developing and fostering community spirit;
- promoting public interest in the history of Ipperwash and to encourage research therein;
- rendering assistance to the various levels of government by supplying information collected as a result of research carried on under the auspices of the corporation; and
- carrying on research and investigation into problems connected with the ownership, development, management, financing and promotion of real property in the centre Ipperwash area
The geographical limits of the Centre Ipperwash Community Association (CICA) are the area west of Army Camp Road (formerly the Tenth Concession), north of Highway 21, east of West Ipperwash Road (formerly the Fourteenth Concession) and bound on the north by the Lake Huron shoreline.
Full Membership
The Association represents only those property-owners for the area described above. Full members are voting members at our annual AGM or at special meetings. No member shall be entitled to vote at meetings of the Association unless he/she has paid all dues or fees payable by him/her.
Each assessed property can have one full membership.
Associate (Non-voting) Membership
Associate memberships are available for those not eligible for Full Membership, such as tenants, spouses of members, multiple owners of properties not eligible for Full Membership. Associate members may attend meetings, voice concerns, receive newsletter and other information; they will not have voting privileges and may not be members of the Association Executive.
Annual Membership Fee
(July 1st of the current year to June 30th of the following year)
Full Membership annual fee is fifty dollars ($50.00)
Associate Membership annual fee is twenty five dollars ($25.00)
