Arkona Cemetery Decoration Day
June 12th, 2016

The Annual Decoration Day Service at the Arkona Cemetery (8628 Townsend Line) will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.

All are welcome – please bring a lawn chair.

In the event of rain, the service will be held at Elim Bible Chapel, 8457 Townsend Line, Arkona.

Notice to Property Owners – Destroy Weeds
In accordance with the Weed Control Act, R.S.O. 1990, c W.5, Sections 3, 13, 16, 23, notice is given to all persons in possession of land that unless noxious weeds growing on their lands, within the Municipality of Lambton Shores, are destroyed by June 17, 2016 and throughout the season, the Municipality may enter upon the said lands and have the weeds destroyed, charging the costs against the land, as set out in the Act.

The co-operation of all citizens is appreciated.

The meeting is held at the Legacy Centre – Thomas Hall, Allen Street, Thedford.

The Awards will be presented at the Annual Volunteer BBQ on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Legacy Recreation Centre in Thedford.
