Welcome to Ipperwash

The Centre Ipperwash Community Association would like to welcome you to the Ipperwash area. Ipperwash is home to the most spectacular sunsets in Ontario, the finest sandy beach on Lake Huron, and a community second to none. Our community truly makes Ipperwash special.

As a  welcome gift, we would like to offer you a free introductory membership.

We invite you to join the Centre Ipperwash Community Association(CICA) to get better connected with Ipperwash. We are a welcoming, inclusive group of property owners who have great respect for our local environment, proud of our Ipperwash heritage and like to enhance community spirit through social events with our friends and neighbours.

You will be part of a dynamic organization that provides information to its members, meets with local officials, and is a voice for your concerns. We provide opportunities for members to become involved in community events, support ecological endeavours and pursue property-owner matters that affect our members.

Concerned with garbage or polluting in our community, CICA provides its members with a yearly dumpster day in June to dispose of large unwanted items at no cost. Throughout the year CICA supports or hosts social events which are great opportunities to meet your neighbours, maybe lend a hand and usually have fun too. (See our Calendar) As a CICA member, you are also a member of The Federation of Ontario Cottage Association, which brings a provincial voice to rural and waterfront issues and is an excellent resource for information.

CICA has partnered in the past with organizations like the Ipperwash Phragmites Phighters, St Clair Conservation Authority, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry to maintain Ipperwash as a clean, safe and ecologically sound community.
